About Thomas
Originally from Charlotte, NC, Tommy has been happy to call Greenville, SC home since moving to the area in 2016. Having graduated from North Carolina State University (NCSU) in 2013, Tommy has spent the majority of his professional career in finance, most recently as an Assistant Vice-President/Branch Manager for Coastal Carolina National Bank in downtown Greenville. Though he loved working in finance, Tommy always had a passion for Real Estate, dating back to internships with agencies in Raleigh, NC, while attending NCSU. With a family full of realtors, it is safe to say, real estate is in Tommy's blood. Having teamed up with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS, Tommy performs as a Listing Specialist with the Chet and Beth Smith Group.
For Leisure, Tommy enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He has a HUGE heart for giving back to the community. Tommy lead a team to put on "Feed Greenville's Growth 5K" in 2018, which raised money for both Meals on Wheels Greenville SC and Habitat for Humanity Greenville SC. Tommy's father-in-law, former Governer of SC, acting Executive Director of the World Food Program, and recent recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, David Beasley, attended the event and spoke to Greenville residents about the importance of feeding those in need. Most recently, during the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, Tommy used any free time he had to create a movement called "Greenville Strong" which raised money to support local restraunts by purchasing large quiantities of meals and delivering those to our medical professionals, working the frontlines. Tommy also serves as Vice-Chair on the Board for Faces and Voices of Recovery (FAVOR Upstate).
With a clear desire to serve Upstate, SC, Tommy is excited to assist others in the listing and selling of their home!
